Kristen joined Tenant Law Group in February 2020 as Trial Counsel. Her primary goal is to advocate for her clients and to give them a voice. She is excited to represent tenants in landlord-tenant matters.
Kristen has been practicing law in San Francisco for many years and has litigated a variety of different types of civil cases with a focus on business litigation. She has experience litigating cases from inception through trial, including taking and defending depositions, attending mediations, drafting motions and pleadings, arguing motions, making court appearances, examining witnesses, researching and writing legal memoranda, and conducting discovery. She enjoys advocating on behalf of her clients and prosecuting cases.
Kristen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of California at Davis in 1996 where she received a Departmental Citation for outstanding performance in economics. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1999, where she received American Jurisprudence Awards for Legal Writing and Research, Environmental Law, and Criminal Law.
Kristen has lived in the City of San Francisco for two decades. When she is not working, Kristen enjoys the breathtaking view of the City, spending time with friends, and doing volunteer and service activities.
