Harita joined Tenant Law Group in November 2021 as an Attorney. She currently dedicates one hundred percent of her practice to helping tenants recover money damages following egregious landlord behavior, and negotiating settlements or taking matters to arbitration, mediation, and trial if needed.

Harita earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Gender Studies from the University of Texas at Austin, where she made the Dean’s List ampla cum laude. She participated in the University’s Mock Trial Team all four years as both a member and, later, as captain. She was recognized as Outstanding Attorney at the St. Louis Mock Trial Invitational in 2015, the Baylor Mock Trial Invitational in 2016, and the American Mock Trial Association Opening Round Championship Series in 2017. She also earned first place at the National Baylor Mock Trial Invitational in 2016 and the Dallas Regional Mock Trial Association in 2017.

She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis School of Law (King Hall). While at King Hall, Harita was Captain and Training Chair of the UC Davis School of Law Trial Practice Honors Board and a member of the UC Davis School of Law Moot Court Honors Board. She also continued to earn accolades relating to negotiations and oral advocacy. In 2017, she was a finalist at the UC Davis School of Law Negotiations Competition. In 2018, she was a semifinalist at the UC Davis School of Law Moot Court Competition, a quarterfinalist at the Capitol City Mock Trial Competition, finalist at the UC Davis School of Law Frances Carr Trial Competition, and champion of the UC Davis School of Law Cota Trial Competition. Also in 2018, she was awarded best opening at the Fordham Law Mock Trial Tournament.

Harita has experience in both criminal and civil procedure. Prior to joining Tenant Law Group, she clerked at the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office and the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office. She also practiced at a private firm in Roseville, California. She has participated in (and prevailed at) two Domestic Violence Restraining Order trials.

A native of Plano, Texas, Harita enjoys traveling, making new friends, and telling corny jokes.
